ACx Commissioning

Prove the building’s systems work before turnover.

From the equipment register to the final report.

  1. 1

    Equipment register

Struxen reads the mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings and writes one row per equipment tag, with the sheet it came from and its scheduled attributes.

  2. 2

    Checklists

Pre-functional, installation and startup checklists, stamped per unit from a template and completed in the field. A failed line raises a punch item or an observation.

  3. 3

    Functional tests

Each unit is run through its sequences with every step held to an expected value, signed by the performer and the commissioning authority. TAB reports are checked against the design.

  4. 4

    Issues

Every deficiency is tracked from Initiated through closeout, with retests recorded and aging shown by responsible trade.

  5. 5

    Final report

Assembled from the project’s own records: the equipment register, checklist and test completion, TAB verification, the issues log, document review and site visits.

No second set of records.

Its checklists are inspections, its issues are the project’s observations, and its document review is the project’s own documents.
