Built by a builder, for builders.
Struxen catches the problems hiding in your drawings before they reach the field, with every finding cited to the page, from precon to closeout.

Justin K Schaad
Founder & CEO, Struxen, Inc.
LinkedInJustin started his first construction company at eighteen. He spent the next two decades on both sides of the same drawings: first in the field, then on the design side, across mechanical, life-science, and process engineering. Few people in construction ever see a project from both sides. It changes what you notice. The designer’s assumption that the field will catch it. The field’s assumption that the designer already did.
The same pattern followed him from project to project. Problems that were visible on paper reached the field anyway, and the general contractor and subcontractors paid for them: the clash nobody caught, the detail left over from another job, the conflict between trades that surfaced mid-pour. None of it was anyone’s failure. Every set simply holds more than any team has hours to read.
So he built the tool he needed on every one of those jobs. Struxen starts with the knowledge that already exists. The lessons-learned files superintendents carry from job to job, mostly unopened. The instincts project managers earned the hard way. The judgment of the veteran builder who can read one sheet and tell you which detail will fail in the field, because they have watched it fail before. AI agents apply that knowledge to every sheet of every set, and they never run out of hours. Not a replacement for the people who built the industry. An amplifier for them.
Why Struxen. Why now.
Every year, construction loses more of the knowledge that keeps jobs out of trouble. The builders who can look at a drawing and feel that something is wrong are retiring faster than they can be replaced, and their judgment leaves with them. Projects keep getting more complex, schedules tighter, margins thinner. The industry’s answer has been more software to manage the work. Almost none of it understands the work.
Two things changed. AI can finally read a full drawing set (every sheet, spec, schedule, and submittal) and reason about how it all fits together, which was impossible even a few years ago. And the builders whose judgment is worth preserving are still on the job today, able to teach it. Struxen exists at that intersection: real knowledge from real builders, captured while it still can be, and amplified by AI onto every project.
The goal is simple. No builder should ever pay for a problem that was sitting in the drawings the whole time. That is the standard Struxen is built to, job after job.
Where the knowledge comes from.
There is no textbook for what Struxen needs to know. The knowledge that catches expensive problems was never written down, and it does not exist in any model’s training data. It lives with the people who build, earned one hard job at a time.
So Struxen is assembling the Guild, a community of working builders: superintendents, project managers, estimators, and trade foremen who teach the platform what they know. Think of it like crowdsourcing, except what gets pooled is construction knowledge that exists nowhere else. Every lesson an advisor contributes makes the agents sharper for everyone who builds.
And advisors are not volunteers. Guild contributors earn royalties when the knowledge they teach catches a real problem, and Partners, the vetted core, hold equity in Struxen. Either way it is a real stake, and a seat at the AI table for the people who built the industry. If you have spent a career earning that knowledge, this is how it outlives the jobsite. Apply to become an advisor.
Where Struxen is going.
Catching problems on paper is the beginning, not the destination. Every review, every finding, and every advisor lesson compounds into the same thing: a working model of how experienced builders think.
The next step is design. The same knowledge that teaches the agents what fails will teach designer agents what works, so projects get laid out the way builders would build them and the problems never make it onto paper at all. Catching the problems is where Struxen starts. Preventing the problems is where it is going.

We’re not perfect. Yet.
You are on the cutting edge, and that means you are early. We are not perfect yet, and we are only accepting a limited number of companies into this first cohort.
What I guarantee you is this: we will be right there with you. When something falls short, we will make it right. And as we sharpen the platform and add new features, you will be first to have them.
How your data is handled.
Hosted on AWS, per-tenant isolation enforced at the storage and compute layer
Project documents are encrypted at rest with per-tenant keys, isolated to your account
Your firm’s institutional knowledge (methods, procedures, and lessons learned) is your competitive advantage. We treat it that way: never shared with other customers, and never used to train shared AI models.
The shared agents do learn, but from one source only: advisors, builders who choose to contribute their knowledge and hold equity in Struxen for it. Advisor contributions are the only knowledge that trains the shared agents. Customer data never is.
