Templates

A seeded library of 24 equipment and system checklist templates, plus AI-drafted templates written from your own project specifications

Templates is the checklist library Checklists and Functional Tests draw from: a seed library covering 24 common equipment and system types, and AI generation from your own project's specifications.

Library

The Library tab lists the seeded templates. Select one or more and press Add to project to turn them into real, project-owned templates. Adding from the library costs nothing: it does not spend credits, only AI generation does.

Each seed template covers both halves of the checklist: a pre-functional checklist and the matching functional performance test.

Project templates

The Project templates tab lists templates already added to this project, whether from the library or accepted from an AI draft. Assign to equipment type binds a template to one or more equipment types, so checklists stamped for that type use it. Editing a template's own content happens in the Inspections template library, the same place every checklist template in Struxen is authored. See Inspections.

Generate with AI

Press Generate with AI to draft a new template for an equipment type from the project's own specifications. Struxen reads the relevant spec sections and drafts both the pre-functional checklist and the functional performance test, with expected values and citations back to the source spec section wherever the draft states one.

A draft is not a template until you accept it. Review it on the Drafts tab: read the sections, add a correction note if something is wrong, then Accept as template or Discard. A discarded draft's correction, if you left one, is recorded as feedback. An accepted template is marked Generated with AI everywhere it appears, so nobody mistakes it for a seeded or hand-authored one.

Generating a draft is a metered AI operation and spends the project's compute credits. See Billing and access.

Everything is disabled. You are on the shared demo project, which is read only.
