Checklists

Pre-functional, installation, and startup checklists, run per unit against the equipment register on the same inspection engine as the rest of Struxen

Checklists covers everything that has to be verified on a unit before it is functionally tested: pre-functional checks, installation checks, and startup checklists.

The same engine as every other checklist

There is no separate checklist system here. A commissioning checklist is an inspection: the same templates, the same signed record, the same reinspection chain when a line fails. What makes an inspection a commissioning checklist is its template's type (pre-functional, installation, or startup) rather than a different data model. A failed line raises a punch item or an observation, the same as it does anywhere else inspections are used. See Inspections for how a failure turns into work and how reinspection works.

Functional performance tests are deliberately not here, even though they are also inspections. They carry expected values and witness signatures and have a different acceptance bar. See Functional Tests.

The register

Press New checklist to stamp a checklist from a template against a piece of equipment, the same create flow used throughout Inspections. The library of commissioning templates comes from Templates.

The metric strip counts:

MetricWhat it counts
OpenChecklists not yet in review or closed
In reviewChecklists submitted and awaiting sign-off
ClosedChecklists completed and closed out
DeficientChecklists carrying at least one deficient answer

Deficient counts records, not individual failed lines, so it answers "how many units have a problem" rather than "how many lines failed."
