Sheet viewer
Open a sheet full bleed, pan and zoom, take notes, mark it up, measure it, search its text, and step through revisions
The sheet viewer opens any document in the project full bleed, with every piece of chrome floating over it. Reading a sheet never costs a credit and never requires a paid product.
Get there by clicking a sheet in the Drawings register, or by clicking Open document in a row's detail panel on the Document Center. Citation chips in a STRUX answer open it too. See Field Q&A.
Moving around
The floating tool pill sits at the bottom of the screen and can be dragged anywhere by its handle.

When a sheet belongs to a run of siblings (the sheets in its area, or the documents in the list you came from), a stepper at the bottom left moves through them, and the left and right arrow keys do the same.
Download is in the info chip at the top left. It downloads the revision on screen, not whatever happens to be current.
Focus mode
The info chip carries a Focus mode toggle. It hides the application chrome
so the drawing is the only thing on screen. Click it again for Exit focus
mode, or press Escape.

Shortcuts never fire while you are typing in a field, and never while a dialog is open over the viewer.
Escape closes exactly one layer per press, outermost first.
Notes
A note is your own pin on a spot on the sheet. Press N or click Add note
(N), click where the note belongs, and write it. Notes are read, created,
edited, resolved and deleted freely, and every one of those operations is free.
Open notes from the My notes tab in the flyout on the right, which carries a count.
Markup
Press M or click Markup (M) to open the drawing tools. Marks belong to the
revision you were looking at when you drew them, and they render on that
revision only.

Colours are Red, Orange, Blue, Green and Yellow. Stroke widths are Thin, Medium and Thick.
Drawing, editing, deleting and undo are all free. Marking up a drawing you can already open is not a paid capability.
Link item takes a display snapshot of the record's label when you place it. If the record is later renamed, the pin keeps the old label until it is replaced. The number, which is what people actually read, does not change.
Measuring
The measure group sits with the markup tools, and Calibrate comes first, because on an uncalibrated page it is the only one of the three that does anything useful. Set the scale, then measure.

Calibration is per page, per revision. Every measurement on that page is read through it.
Detail callouts
Where a sheet's text references another sheet, the viewer draws the reference as a callout you can follow. Callouts are read off the sheet itself, are read only, and are free.
If callouts fail to load, the viewer draws none and does not claim the sheet has none. It never puts a banner over a drawing.
Searching the text on a sheet
A drawing is a document nobody can search with Ctrl-F. The magnifier in the info chip is that affordance: type a term, get the passages it appears in, and click one to turn to its page.
Four outcomes look similar and are told apart deliberately:

| No text layer | This sheet has never been searched, because there is nothing to search. Reporting zero here would say the term is absent when nothing ever looked. |
| A partial read | Part of the document was read and the scan stopped. The term may be in the part that was not read. |
| No matches | The sheet has text, all of it was read, and the term is not in it. |
| The search failed | Reported as a failure, never as an empty list. |
Match positions are worked out against the live text layer as the page renders. When a snippet cannot be placed, the row still turns the page and simply does not highlight. Nothing is guessed.
Revisions
When a sheet has more than one revision, a rail lets you switch between them. Each entry reads as its revision, its issue date, and Current where it is the current one. A revision with no established value reads Initial issue at the oldest position and 2nd issue, 3rd issue and so on after that, because only the oldest revision of a drawing can be its first. A revision nothing established reads Not read.
Switching revisions is free, and so is downloading whichever one is on screen.

What costs money
Everything above is free. Four capabilities require VANTAGE, which is not in CORE. None of them is metered per read: re-opening findings your organisation already paid to produce never charges again.

The Findings tab itself is deliberately free. On CORE, without VANTAGE, you can see the tab, and opening it shows a panel reading "Findings are not in your current plan." Hiding the tab would hide the product.
The gate fails open. If the entitlement check cannot complete, findings are shown rather than hidden, so a network problem never locks a paying customer out of their own data. See Findings.
Troubleshooting
The sheet will not render. The viewer picks a renderer and falls back to the standard PDF renderer if the tiled one is unavailable. If neither can draw the file, the document is probably not a PDF or an image. Download it and check.
Download is disabled. The tooltip carries the reason. Usually the document has no stored file, which happens on register rows that were mirrored as metadata only.
Text search says the sheet has no text layer. It is a scan. Nothing was ever indexed from it either. See Processing.
Marks drawn earlier are not on the sheet. Check which revision you are looking at. A mark belongs to the revision it was drawn on and does not appear on another one unless it was carried forward.
Measurements read wrong. The page is not calibrated, or it was calibrated on a different page or revision. Calibration is per page, per revision. Run Calibrate again on this page.
Accept and dismiss do nothing. Those keys act on the selected finding. Select one in the Findings tab first. On the demo project they are inert, because the demo project is read only.
